Embark on a 15-day adventure to conquer Island Peak, a thrilling journey that seamlessly blends high-altitude trekking, climbing challenges, and the iconic Everest Base Camp experience. The expedition begins with a scenic flight to Lukla on Day 1, followed by a trek to Phakding at 2640m. Day 2 propels you further into the Khumbu region as you trek to Namche Bazaar at 3440m. To acclimatize to the increasing altitudes, Day 3 is designated for exploration and adaptation in Namche Bazaar. The trek continues through Tengbodhe and Dingboche, gradually ascending to Chhukung at 4730m. Day 7 introduces climbing school activities and acclimatization in Chhukung, preparing you for the ascent.On Day 8, the journey intensifies as you trek to Island Peak Base Camp at 5150m, where the climb is meticulously planned. Day 9 marks the summit day at 6189m, followed by a descent to Chukung. The trek progresses to Labuche and Gorakshep on Days 10 and 11, incorporating a hike to Everest Base Camp and an early morning sunrise trip to Kalapathar. Descending to Pheriche on Day 12, the journey continues to Namche Bazaar and Lukla on Days 13 and 14. The adventure concludes with a flight to Manthali and a scenic drive back to Kathmandu on Day 15. Lukla flight information
Regarding the Lukla flight arrangements, I would like to inform you some flight details which may affect you itinerary. During Peak seasons, specially March, April, May, October and November, the lukla flight operations will be redirected to Ramechhap/Manthali airport due to expansion of air traffic.
